Towards the feast of San Nicola da Tolentino
From 9 to 11 September, three days of devotion, games in the square, tenores and Sardinian dances. The committee is working on the programme.
The committee is at work on the feast of San Nicola da Tolentino, to be held from 9 to 11 September. The devotion to the Saint is one of the village's dearest legacies: it goes back to the Augustinian presence and to the convent founded in Illorai in 1624.
The programme includes the solemn vespers, the mass sung by the Melàbrina women's choir, the procession through the streets of the village, the games in the square for the little ones and the evenings with tenores, folk groups and Sardinian dances.
